Privacy & GDPR

As you are probably aware, the law regarding the collection and preservation of personal data has changed, it is our duty to inform you of our obligations to comply with the new regulations to safeguard your personal data.

Information collected may include:

+ Email address – we may take your email address to send you details of products or to send confirmation of bookings. These are for our own use only and not shared with any third parties. We may, very occasionally, send information about new products which may be of interest, however, you will have the option to opt out and have your email address removed from our records.

+ Contact phone numbers – we will take a contact number from you either to quote for work or when making a booking. These are only used by staff if required to contact you concerning a booking, we will never share this information with third parties.

+ Address details – we will take your address if we are fitting products on a mobile basis for you or if we are taking a payment over the phone and need to verify card information. These details will not be shared with third parties. Although we keep copies of our job cards for 5 years, you can request that this information is deleted if required.

+ Vehicle number plate or VIN – this will be required to find the correct parts for the vehicle or for identifying the correct vehicle when onsite for an installation. Details will not be shared with third parties, other than our parts suppliers where necessary.

+ Credit card payments – if work is done on a mobile basis, it may be necessary to take a card payment over the phone as a ‘card not present’ transaction. Card details will be directly inputted into the card machine and will not be captured, stored or saved.

+ Reviews – you may choose to leave a review about our company when we have completed work for you. Your review may be placed on our website but we will never share your contact details.

We would like to assure our customers that any data stored on our computer database is secured with passwords. All other paperwork, including invoices and printed card receipts are stored within our office space for 5 years and are securely locked in our absence. We do not collect customer information through our webpage.

Your privacy is important to us and we will not share any business or personal data with any third-party organisations for advertising or marketing purposes. The only exception to this is if we are ordered to share data by the courts of England and Wales due to legal prosecution, we can assure you no data is shared unless we are legally obliged to do so.

Should you have any queries with regards to your personal data and its preservation please do not hesitate to contact Victoria Rees (Director) on 01242 679222.
